Lifting Spirits Organization Overview

Lifting Spirits is an effort to leverage sports as an enabler for driving positive social change in poverty stricken communities. We are partnering with NGOs to use sports as a medium to address social issues across third world countries. Underprivileged kids are persistently distracted with issues surrounding survival - food scarcity, clean water, hygiene - that they are unable to live freely, enjoy life, and discover their own interests. The Sports & Fitness Outreach is a nonprofit project to emotionally and physically interact with these children to relieve their stress, and raise money for sports equipment, athletic gear, & tennis shoes in addition to the necessary supplies. In the process, our team educates these communities on sports culture and engages the children in scrimmages. The goal is to inspire every child, deprived of opportunities and guidance, to strive to achieve their full potential, and in doing so, educates them on how to live healthy, stress free lives.
