Lifting Up Westchester supports our neighbors in crisis by securing restoring the foundation necessary for them to rebuild their lives. Each year, we permanently change the lives of 3,500 men, women, and children by finding them stable housing, food, income, and other support systems to allow them to maintain an improved quality of life.
Lifting Up Westchester (LUW) helps build the reservoir of support necessary for our Westchester neighbors to flourish. We are here not only to repair well-being when it starts to breakdown, but also to construct a strong foundation to maintain this well-being over time.
For four decades as one of the county’s largest social service nonprofits, we make sure that all of our neighbors in need have critical resources like nutritious food, stable housing, access to healthcare and education, and the strong support systems they need to regain their independence.
