Lincoln Glenn, LLC was founded in 2021, with a mission to present American art from the 19th century to the contemporary period. The gallery exhibits works from artists of the Hudson River School, American Impressionism, Ashcan School, and American Modernism, with a particular focus on Abstract Expressionism and Color Field painting. Lincoln Glenn wishes to revive the legacies and explore the careers of artists working between the 1950s and 1970s who made significant contributions to art history, but whose names may have been forgotten by time.
Lincoln Glenn is proud to open its doors at 542 West 24th Street in Chelsea and at 17 East 67th Street on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The two spaces allow the gallery to host multiple exhibitions each year dedicated to introducing select primary and secondary market paintings, works on paper, and sculptures to the public. Lincoln Glenn is honored to represent Sherron Francis as well as the estates of Gene Hedge, Alan Fenton, Calvert Coggeshall, Aaron Bohrod, Gerome Kamrowski, and David Hare.
Lincoln Glenn also works in an advisory capacity on acquisitions to private collectors, art advisors, interior designers, and museums. The gallery welcomes all inquiries from collectors who wish to sell or consign works of art or estates.
