#LinkedinLocal Berkshire was formed in November 2018 after seeing a chance post by Anna McAfee on LinkedIn about helping people who are already connected on LinkedIn to meet socially offline. Each meeting holds new and swapped ideas, introductions are made and friendships formed. Locations will vary across Berkshire so keep an eye on Eventbrite. LinkedInLocal is an idea that started in Australia and has caught peoples imaginations. The idea is very simply to put the social back into social media, to meet the person behind the LinkedIn profile. It’s a great way to meet with existing contacts and to make new connections in an informal business context. There will be a loose structure but mostly it’s about you connecting with other LinkedIn members and building relationships. Bring yourself and business cards and connect with people you may or may not know on Linkedin. Dress code is whatever you want, turning up in work clothes or jeans, it doesn't matter!
