The purpose of the Little Blue Natural Resource District is to develop and execute, through the exercise of powers and authorities granted by law, plans, facilities, works, and programs relating to: • Erosion Prevention & control • Prevention of damages from flood water & sediment • Flood retention and control • Soil Conservation • Water supply for any beneficial uses. • Development, management, utilization, & conservation of ground water and surface water. • Pollution Control • Solid waste disposal & sanitary drainage • Drainage improvement & channel rectification • Development & management of fish and wildlife habitat. • Development of management of recreational & park facilities. • Forestry & range management.
