Welcome to Live Spanish Language School! LSLS is a woman-owned small business opening an online Spanish language school focused on working and professional adult people and retired adult people native speakers of another language. Are adults too old to learn a language? This is just a prejudice to the cognitive ability of adult people. A scientific research says “The brain remains flexible enough to learn a new language well into adulthood, even if nailing the accent might get harder with age”. We not only agree on this but also we support in our own teaching experience; for all that, we decided to offer to them a collaborative and professional language service. LSLS use different methods because our teaching style suits the student’s learning abilities. For this reason, we use the plan of improvisation as a learning method, since the lessons are not subjected to a rigid scripted framework. The school name is LIVE since it focuses on the action of the language using the task-bases since the objective is that the students achieve to develop their grammar, reading, listening and speaking skills based on a concept involving total immersion in Spanish culture and language in a lively, fun and relaxing atmosphere.
