At Living Manuals, we are on a mission to equip Black youth with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to thrive—both within and beyond the traditional classroom. Our nonprofit organization provides culturally relevant, whole-person development programs that integrate international Black history, self-defense training, financial literacy, and wellness interventions. The education system often fails to provide Black youth with the necessary social, historical, and practical knowledge to succeed. That’s where Living Manuals steps in. Through immersive workshops, summer institutes, and hands-on learning experiences, we teach critical life skills that empower young people to break cycles of systemic oppression and build strong, self-sufficient communities.
