LKTS was founded on January 23, 1995 in Boyolali Indonesia, the [association] is an independent organization, non for profit organization is registered by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Indonesia under registration number: AHU-0005402.AH.01.07. As an non state actor organisation and to maintain absolute integrity, LKTS does not accept funding from political parties. Our principal source of funding is membership dues, individual supporters, public fundraising campaigns, international donor and public donations. LKTS puts the power of human rights at the service of those who need it most, since the year 2000, LKTS adopted a human rights-based approach to all our program development. LKTS using human rights based approach, to tackle the issues and challenging them. Our goal to devising strategies to unlock the social, political and economic barriers that block the transformative action needed to speed up the switch to mitigate the impacts of social injustice. LKTS support marginalised people to assert their rights in practical ways and make real social, politic and economic change in their communities. LKTS work closely with grass root partners, and break new ground in our partnerships to make the greatest possible difference in the community level. LKTS show leadership and maintain our 26 years of tradition for action and innovation. By experimenting and testing new ways of working with community and grass root partners. LKTS believe poor and marginalised people can gain the power to transform their lives.
