The National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics (NILE) is the premier trade association for the lobbying and government affairs profession. Our mission is to promote professionalism, competence, and high ethical standards through education. NILE prescribes a strong Code of Ethics for its members to follow, as well as, a rigorous Public Policy Certificate Program that assures lobbyists and government affairs professionals have a complete knowledge of the legislative and regulatory processes. We provide opportunities for personal and professional development to help maximize the potential of industry professionals. Our Public Policy Certificate (PPC) program is designed to provide lobbyists, government affairs, grassroots, social media, public relations, and corporate/association professionals at all levels, the necessary professional education they need to keep pace with an ever-changing environment.
