Hi! We are the Local Hearts Foundation, At Local Hearts we aim to empower our community one heart at a time. We are an established 501(c)(3) non-profit that aims to bring together the community and give back to the most low income areas of LA. Over the past 10 years we’ve served those in need by providing daily essentials. This began in the trunk of our car. We would pack up toys, food, hygiene kits, and drive around distributing them to under resourced communities. Since then our Local Hearts family has grown and now we give back through our three main events every year. Our Back to School Drive, our Thanksgiving Drive, and our Christmas Drive. The Back to School Drive directly helps students of all ages by giving out backpacks, school supplies, shoes, and clothing for the new school year. The Thanksgiving Drive serves families and individuals in the most impoverished/poverty-stricken/poorest areas. We give out essentials like clothing, canned goods, and whole turkeys to help make the holiday for those who can't afford it. The Christmas Drive is an event of celebration and love. We help spread the holiday spirit by collecting and giving away thousands of toys as well as provide entertainment and food for everyone.
