The London Construction Academy provides fully funded courses to enable people not in employment, education or training to receive transferable skills for employment. Travel expenses up to a maximum of £90 during the 12 day course are met by the charity, The Worshipful Company of Paviors.
We run 4 courses per year and in 12 days students learn:
• Health and Safety
• CSCS Revision and Test
• First Aid
• Environmental Awareness
• Customer Service
• Preparing for Interviews
• London Bronze Pass Certificate for attending and passing all modules
Whilst we are not a job agency, several employers in the highways, civil engineering, construction and manufacturing industries advertise their apprenticeship and job opportunities with the academy so our graduating students can apply.
