In 2015, after realizing the financial struggles of many child advocacy volunteers, a small group of passionate citizens planned and executed a cook off aimed at fundraising. After the dust settled and we delivered a $20,000 check to CASA of Liberty and Chambers counties we knew we could do more and much more was necessary to make the kind of difference we needed to make and Lone Star Guardians was born.
We now promote several events a year from the small gumbo cook off to the large Fair and Rodeo.
