Producer, mixer, and composer, Gil Gonzalez began his career more than a decade ago gaining a huge amount of experience early on by playing with the internationally renowned band, Genitallica, as a bass player in Monterrey, Mexico. Cutting his teeth with producers such as Barrett Jones, “Scotch” Ralston and Mauricio Garza, Gil quickly became a creative and hands-on producer himself.
Austin, Texas based, Gil has since gone on to cultivate projects with his own brand of magic, working across a variety of genres including Pop, Electro-Pop, Hip Hop, R&B and Rock. Gil has spent the past six years producing, recording, mixing and composing more than 40 projects, with unsigned artists as well as signed artists, to both international and independent record labels.
As a composer, Gil has written a number of successful singles, including“Borracho”, “Prendelo”, “Tocate”and participated in the reality show “Melody Makers”.
Recent projects include: Coronel, Demico featuring Mike Jones, Lian Amber, Five Alarm Fuego, Santiny, and Dragon Rojo.
