Longhorn Baja is UT Austin's Baja SAE team. Baja SAE is a collegiate engineering competition where student teams design, build, and race a single-seat off-road vehicle. The competition, organized by SAE International, challenges teams to create a rugged, durable car that can handle rough terrain while optimizing performance, safety, and efficiency. Teams compete in events like acceleration, maneuverability, endurance, and design presentation, testing both their engineering skills and teamwork.
