Lorenzo De Bartolomeis Design Studio Overview

Industrial designer, adjunct professor in the Advanced design course at the University of Bologna, co-founder of ddpstudio. He coordinates the studio/archives of his mentor Isao Hosoe. Since 2006, he has collaborated with Loccioni company on corporate and market projects. He designed, together with Isao Hosoe, the card game Play40, published by Corraini, part of the project "Play Factory, for a new work culture." Since 2014 he has collaborated with the Italian Institute of Technology and Inail on robotics projects applied to prosthetics and rehabilitation, including the Hannes prosthetic hand and the Twin exoskeleton. He has received several international awards including the Compasso d'Oro, the ADI Innovation Award, IF Award and the Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum. He studied industrial design at the Milan Polytechnic and Central Saint Martins College in London.
