The foundation for Lost Horizon Handicraft was laid in 2002. We wanted to cultivate the timeless tradition of handicraft weaves to produce eco-friendly materials that would portray Nepal’s idyllic beauty. Our company is a product of resilience to promote equality in community development. The revolutionary idea to create a source of empowerment and support for local communities in education, healthcare, and other infrastructures gave rise to our brand.
Our goal is to conduct fair trade resulting in commemorative social benefits within the community. Since its inception, Lost Horizon Handicraft has strived for excellence; manufacturing one-of-a-kind organic felt products of exceptional export quality that are desired worldwide. In the process, we have provided hundreds of employment opportunities to underprivileged individuals in our factories in Kathmandu and Chitwan.
We aim to promote sustainability by prioritizing safe working conditions, secure livelihoods, and community development. Each of our factories has the best-in-class infrastructure and operates efficiently on Green Energy, promoting eco-friendly production. Approximately 95% of our workforce comprises women artisans, and all our employees enjoy a sustainable income while working in safe and hygienic conditions.
