Love Outdoors CIC seeks to break down barriers to accessing the outdoors by providing free information on what’s available outdoors and by working collaboratively to develop community-led projects that improve mental and physical health and reduce social isolation.
We want more people to enjoy the outdoors, find their place in the outdoors, and connect with others in their community.
Our projects include:
Willow Incredible Garden- a community garden in the grounds of a GP surgery to benefit patients, staff and the community.
A shared Housing Association community garden, delivering gardening and outdoor activities for residents and working to improve the garden for all.
A searchable website where anyone can find outdoor places to go, things to do, events that are on and outdoor-related businesses in the Solent area of Hampshire, UK. This will involve the community, who can add and engage with others to share their favourite outdoor places and connect through shared interests.
