The Lowkey-Slate Collective is an initiative for educational solutions that aims towards making quality education accessible for everyone. Its vision is two-fold: to provide education and the tools needed for change, and then to provide a safe-space for publishing opportunities through its creative arts and literary magazine - The Missing Slate.
Through The Missing Slate, our digital publishing platform, we connect emerging writers and artists to a larger network of publishers, agencies, and galleries. To date, TMS has published work from over 80 countries, including 21 languages, and helped launch the careers of 50 creators.
Through our capacity-building arm, we assist schools in building more creative-friendly environments for tomorrow's creators to thrive in. Through our mentoring and networking arm, we partner with leading creative mentors and link them with emerging creators, to develop a network where it's not just one mentor helping their mentees, but mentees everywhere helping other mentees learn and grow.
Together, we are The Lowkey-Slate Collective, dismantling one problematic cliché after another.
