OUR HISTORY: Born in the age of Information Technology, our story began when a group of friends challenged the idea of ending homelessness through technology enthusiasts, educators, and business professionals collaborating our efforts to provide advance technical training for the underserved homeless communities in the Greater Washington area. The founders of LEAN WITH IT, INC., Byren, Golam, and Hector believes developing Information Technology professionals from homeless communities will resolve economic disparities and will create safe sustainable communities. LEAN WITH IT, INC. (www.lwitgroup.org) is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) corporation registered in the Commonwealth of Virginia. OUR MISSION: LEAN WITH IT, INC.'s mission is to provide job-based Information Technology (IT) resources and training to individuals of the homeless, recently released from incarceration, and low-income population.
