The MSD Investment Group （Led by UCL CSSA）was founded by UCL students in 2021, has accumulated over 1,000 members dedicated to enhancing their financial knowledge and practical skills. Our mission is to provide comprehensive financial insights and hands-on experience through a diverse range of activities. MSD plans to manage its own investment fund, where members learn real-world skills in portfolio management, strategy formulation, and return maximization.
MSD hosts free investment bootcamps for both beginners and advanced participants, offering essential and advanced skills. The group also runs weekly market discussion events, where members analyze global markets and exchange insights. In addition to being sponsored by Visible Alpha(now a part of S&P Global) we are also in close connections with leading firms like Oakcean Capital and industry giants such as UBS, which have supported events, including guest speeches.
