“The Make A Change Africa Scholarship Initiative (MACASI) strives to create long lasting, positive change in the lives of rural Ugandan girls who have demonstrated potential for academic excellence but, unfortunately, are unable to access continued education due to various circumstances. MACASI fundraises money that will directly finance the high school education of girls attending Lords Meade Vocational College in Njeru, Uganda through the form of scholarships. MACASI accomplishes this through supporting the Ugandan Girls Scholarship Foundation (UGSF), a registered non-profit organization in Calgary that works at a grassroot level to provide scholarships for young girls in Uganda.”
