Inspection and Training for the Modern Welding Industry. To date, our students have a 90% pass rate on the AWS CWI exam! Who Is Caity MadSkills? I earned my A.A.S. in Welding Technology in 2007 and started my career as a road-dog welder the next week. I have welded on mining equipment, food process piping, gas turbines, offshore pipelines... the list goes on. Eventually, Eventually starting my own welding and fabrication company, I kept hustling. In 2015 I scored high enough on the AWS CWI exam that it got some notice. That created the opportunity to tutor others at my kitchen table. When the tutoring got to be practically every night of the week, I started a little class. My CWI training course has now become the main focus of my company, with classes 8+ a year, all across the country. I feel very blessed to be a part of the welding industry. Welding has held my interest, allowed me to see the world and keep learning my whole life. I try to pay it forward by volunteering with the American Welding Society and the Texas High School Welding Series. My life motto is: Carpe the hell out of this diem!
