Magazine AM:PM Overview

Magazine AM: PM is a Cuban music magazine that was born from the need to talk about what happens in the teaching, creation, distribution and consumption of music in Cuba. There was no publication exclusively dedicated to popular music on the Island, so we had no choice but to create it, hoping to form a true Cuban cooperative of music lovers. Three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) we publish on the web works of musical journalism in its most varied formats: reviews, interviews, playlists, reports, articles, chronicles and comments appear on our website in the form of texts, photographs, Infographics, videos and audios. Every four months we publish a number of the magazine in PDF format, in which we include some of the best works published in the previous months and some unpublished surprises. The PDF can be downloaded on our website (www.magazineampm.com/descargas/), copied in the Weekly Package and in our Descargas. Our goal in the networks goes beyond the mere dissemination of the work of the magazine and focuses on the generation of a true community of music lovers. From Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube we share our own or external contents that keep our community updated with the national and international events of the music ecosystem. If you subscribe to our magazine you can have access directly from your mail to our newsletter that includes all the works published throughout the week, as well as first-hand information about our activities in the physical world. Every two months we set up the Descargas, one of the most fun and best-performing parties in the city. Between raffles, karaoke, recorded and live music and some surprises, we provoke a meeting of fans, passionates, music lovers, musicians and fans of music. Everything that is collected in these Descargas helps keep Magazine AM: PM on the street.
