Mahuakunjo is a registered charitable trust operating from the heart of Alipore, South Kolkata, that offers comprehensive community development services. In 2016 during Durga Puja, two friends initiated the act of Humanity by giving new clothes to the children living on the streets of Kolkata. The services offers by Mahuakunjo includes education, healthcare, self-defence, recreational facilities and income generation opportunities for women. The events held by Mahuakunjo are -Matrirupen, Blanket Donation Drive, Old Clothes Donation Drive, Literacy Drive, Women Self Defense and Natural Disaster Relief Fund. We believe that a small act of giving can make huge impact. We are working for the orphanโs special children LGBTQ community, sex workers and their children and aged people.
