MAJOR OAK Overview
Major Oak is a multi-racial, multi-class, queer and BIPOC-led, facilitation and consulting group that specializes in partnering with environmental and sustainability organizations. Our group’s goals are to dismantle white supremacy in the broader environmental movement by building truly transformative leadership within organizations through unique learning experiences. We believe that leaders who are willing and able to confront diversity, equity, and inclusion problems within their organizations and communities are also better able to strengthen, support, and direct broader movements towards justice for people, communities, and the environment. Partner with us if you want to feel more prepared to confront the racial injustice that often goes unaddressed by environmental organizations. Together, we will work towards an environmental movement that recenters the marginal voices which have long gone unheard.
