MAKER CITY LA A COMPLETE HABITAT FOR CREATORS & MAKERS We are the Dreamers, the Creators, the Makers Maker City LA is a new creative habitat in downtown Los Angeles. Our mission is to create a whole ecosystem that inspires the artists, designers, thinkers and makers. We're passionate about creating a community-centered space that provides real tools-all in one that creators need to be successful today, including shared studios, fab lab, media lab, podcasting studio, 3D printing, experimental kitchen, and more. Why? We believe that certain places are hotbeds of creativity and beauty. Bustling cities, dynamic coral reefs, and vibrant plazas are a few examples. These hotbeds are overflowing with diversity and a bit of chaos, but they provide a magical energy that fuels wild thoughts and big dreams. We have a dream about building such a place. A place where LA creatives can find cool studio space, all the tools to make their work, and a fun community. A place of experimentation and collaboration where different types of creators inspire each other. Creative people make Los Angeles a great city. We want to create a place that nurtures LA’s next generation of dreamers, creators and makers.
