The Making A Difference (M.A.D.) Ride is non-profit charity devoted to dramatically improving
the quality of life for those with a spinal cord injury, and ultimately finding a cure for paralysis.
Primarily, we raise vital funds for the Shenton Park Rehabilitation Hospital Spinal Unit in Perth, WA, as they lack much key equipment that helps both in rehabilitation and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
Additionally, we donate to several spinal research laboratories in the hope of finding a cure.
Each year we hold a much anticipated motorcycle ride through the streets of Perth, a bikini bike wash, and several other smaller events.
We also hold an annual bike raffle, with the prize being a brand new bike, customised by our very talented, and professional committee members.
