Malha Cooperativa is a recent project of Rizoma Cooperativa Integral's Services Section.
We develop knowledge applicable to solving territorial, socio-economic and ecological challenges, as an alternative to academia and to consulting and training companies. We aspire to contribute to the creation of local socio-economic and ecological systems that are democratic and solidary, capable of ensuring the common good and guaranteeing a dignified life for all people and the ecosystems they integrate. We work with a methodology of collaborative creation, putting knowledge at the service of people, guided by the idea that everyone should have the right and the opportunity to decide on the issues that impact their lives. We have solid experience of national and international research, teaching and facilitation, having worked with the cooperative, associative, business and public administration sectors, in areas such as forestry; water; agriculture; environment; cities; social innovation and social inclusion.
