The school was established in the year 1973 and it never saw behind during its journey to the present prestigious institution of West Delhi having up to date ultra modern and sufficient infrastructure needed for running a successful school.
It was recognized by the Directorate of Education, Govt of NCT, Delhi and now stands affiliated with the CBSE vide affiliation no. 2730133 since 1986. The school imparts education in 3 streams i.e. Science, Commerce and Humanities.

The school has been adopted by Sports Authority of India from where necessary guidelines is received through competitive coaches. Besides this, well experienced and dedicated sportsman have been appointed as coaches to promote the game of Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Chess, Table tennis and Athletes.
