MSSL was originally established in 2001 as the European arm of Counterpane Internet Security, Inc., managing all Counterpane’s business and partner channel across EMEA. In addition to Counterpane MSSL also became one of the first resellers appointed by Sourcefire in EMEA. NetWitness (now part of RSA) appointed MSSL to develop and manage their EMEA business, as did Addamark Technologies (now SenSage) and Foundstone (now part of McAfee).
Following the acquisition of Counterpane by BT in 2007, MSSL refocused attention providing consulting services, mainly via a long-standing relationship with Encode S.A., Greece.
MSSL now has three distinct service offerings:
