Finish the entire meal (fries and cole slaw as well) in 45 minutes and get your handsome mug on the Maple Tavern wall of fame. And get your meal free. The slightly more sane can stick with the Fish and Chips ($12) or Apple Glazed Pork Chops ($15). Beyond the meat dishes, Maple Tavern's baby penne pasta Mac and Cheese ($12) and their Fettuccine Carbonara ($12) can give any Italian restaurant a run for their Italian currency monies. Those with room can indulge in their child-like side with a Tavern special Root Beeer Float ($7) with toasted, homemade banana bread and sugar glazed pecans. Sunday brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. features the perfect hair-of-the-dog bloody mary bar for the still reeling. For your next family reunion, graduation, or pie-eating contest, Maple Tavern boasts a full banquet hall for your contained debauchery.
