Marco Polo Culture Exchange Program

Founded in 2016, Marco Polo Culture Exchange Program contributes to intercultural understanding, and encourages oversea youth explore Chinese culture and language by living with local Chinese host family in Hangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Nanjing. In the past two years, Marco Polo program has signed partnership agreement with the Confucius Institute, educational institutions, volunteer organizations, young people cultural exchange associations and etc. in Canada, the U.S., Germany, Netherlands and the U.K. Two hundred young people have visited China through Marco Polo program. More than five hundred people inquired about the project. All applicants of Marco Polo program can not only experience authentic Chinese life but also take deep understanding on Chinese language and culture by taking Mandarin courses and cultural activities. This experience becomes their amazing memories of a lifetime as well.
