The Margaret Hayman Charitable Trust was established in 1973 by Margaret Hayman.
The Trustees’ priorities are to fund projects that combine concerns for social justice and environmental sustainability, with a focus on low income countries. We aim to support projects working at a strategic level, and innovations which, if effective, could be rolled out at scale.
The Trust is happy to make grants for core costs. In addition, other small grants are sometimes made to refugees known to the Trustees personally.
The Trust is a signatory to DivestInvest and a member of the Environmental Funders Network.
