Marmot Books is an Independent Publishing House. We have created a number of beautiful contemporary books for children at ages 2 to 12. We have won two times the prestigious National Children’s Choice Award, have been awarded twice by Sofia library for most preferred Bulgarian Book Series. In 2019 a title from our portfolio was shortlisted for White Raven Catalogue and in 2021 we were awarded Publishing House of the Year at the Konstantin Konstantinov Children's Literature Fest.
We praise for being the inspiration for thousands of children in Bulgaria to open up to reading.
Our next goal is to establish a whole new publishing line by expanding our portfolio with books for reluctant readers. We search for authentic voices, funny plots and untypical stories that are entertaining, engaging and stimulating.
