Martinica was born in the early ‘80s by brothers Claudio and GianVittorio Maroccola and, after a first experience in the footwear industry, they focused their skills on the belts production, both man and woman.
Over the years, both the company and the product have undergone a continuous evolution, always adapting themselves to new market needs, achieving in the recent years, their own taste and style.
The originality of the product owes much to the use of exotic leather such as crocodile, python, shark, ostrich, peacock. However it was not abandoned the use of classic leathers such as calf and horse, hand dyed, soft or stonewashed.
In over twenty years of history, the product was distributed all over the world, from Japan to Africa, Europe and United States.
Martinica Belts is currently operating also on Italian market with the brand Martinica.
The visions and projects of the Company aim to expand the foreign markets.

The experience gained in over 30 years of activity has led Martinica Belts to work with many companies for the production of private labels (for belts and leather accessories: handbags, wallets, keyrings) such as Emporio Armani, G-Star, Benetton, Sisley, gas, Trussardi Jeans, Tru Trussardi, Jigsaw, Mauro Grifoni, Isabel Marant and Barbara Bui.
