Ilse Maree an ex-au pair and maternity nurse started Mary Poppins Professional Au Pair College in 1998, which morphed into Mary Poppins Recruitment within a year. Although we no longer offer training, we still have a keen eye for the best and most experienced childcare professionals.
Our minimum requirements for all our candidates are:
1. Minimum of 2 years' experience (5 years' minimum for candidates wanting to work abroad) in a relevant field.
2. Qualifications and a recent First Aid Certificate
3. Reliable vehicle and driver's license (vehicle for SA Market)
4. At least 2 verifiable references with a minimum of 1 years' experience at each employer.
Our clients are from all over South Africa, the Middle East and sometimes also Europe.
We love making a good match! There is nothing more satisfying matching a family with candidate that is an asset to their household. We check in regularly in the first 3 months of employment to make sure everyone is satisfied.
