About Us
The Master Municipal Construction Documents Association (MMCDA) is a non-profit society founded in 1995 and supported by BC municipalities to create improved construction documents for roads, sidewalks, sewers, water, traffic signals, and street lighting. The Province of British Columbia endorses the Master Municipal Construction Documents (MMCD) for the construction of municipal services.
Our mission is to provide standardized, user-friendly contract documents that foster fairness, clarity, and efficiency in municipal infrastructure projects. Our MMCD suite includes:

MMCD also offers professional development opportunities, including certification programs for Contract Administrators, and a Referee Service for resolving contract disputes.
With over 60 municipalities regularly using the MMCD, we continue to evolve our resources to meet the changing needs of the industry. Our commitment is to support the efficient and effective delivery of municipal infrastructure projects across British Columbia.
