Established by MaryAnn and Clayton Mathile, the Mathile Family Foundation is guided by three generations of the Mathile family. The Foundation's geographic focus and priority is the Greater Dayton, OH area.
Our mission is to transform the lives of those in need through meaningful collaborations that create hope and opportunity. We do this by establishing meaningful relationships with our grantees and other community partners.
We believe all people, especially children, should have opportunities to reach their full potential. To achieve that, we believe that the greatest social equalizer is education. Further, we believe basic needs and other factors that affect one’s wellbeing must be addressed for someone to thrive.
Our funding priorities include education, basic needs (food, clothing, shelter), mental health, and other social determinants of health that are barriers for children and families. More information and links to our online application can be found on our website.
Grant deadlines are February 1, May 1, August 1, November 1.
