Established in 1973, we are a rapidly evolving from a third-generation small family business to a growing corporate entity.
Our late founder, Mr. H.L. Mathrawala, was one of the pioneers in developing the Reinsurance market in India. He started his association with Insurance & Re-Insurance in 1958, while editing and publishing books on Reinsurance written by Mr. Jorslav Tuma (Ex. Swiss Re Manager).
Today, Mathsons is a Under the leadership of Mr. Bipin Mathrawala and his son Mr. Gaurav Mathrawala, the company has expanded its global presence providing reinsurance solutions to clients in various different countries in classes of business like property, marine & energy, agriculture, aviation, etc.
Clients, including global insurance giants such as Swiss Re., Munich Re., GIC Re., are served by a lean team of 14 persons from our Mumbai office.
