Mathstronauts Overview

𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘂𝘁𝘀 is a federally incorporated non-profit organization founded in 2016 in Hamilton, Ontario. We develop and deliver high quality inclusive, equitable STEM programs to students in grades 3 to 12 in underrepresented communities of Ontario. Our mission is to remove barriers and empower young people to develop digital technology and STEM skills using a multidisciplinary project-based learning (PjBL) approach. Our pedagogical expertise and instructional strategies create meaningful learning opportunities for youth to experience STEM in novel ways. 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 To remove barriers to STEM education to empower young people to develop digital technology and STEM skills. 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 Youth driven by a desire to problem 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲, 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲, and 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲.
