The Matthew Friedman Memorial Foundation is dedicated to honoring the memory of Matthew Friedman by supporting brain research, local high school scholarships and supporting local volunteer Emergency Medical Services. Matthew, a Pre-Med student at Cornell University studying Biology with a concentration in Neurobiology and Behavior, planned to become a surgeon before a ruptured brain aneurysm took him from us. Matthew was an extraordinary student and had a passion for helping his community, serving as an EMT on his local first aid squad. We strive to make a positive impact on our community and beyond. Through our efforts, we aim to keep Matthew’s spirit alive, help others the way Matthew would have, and most of all, make him proud.
