Founded by Lenora Vaughan in Isla Mujeres Mexico 1997, Maya Von has served as a center for health by providing space for Reiki training, acupuncture services, BEAMER treatments, dance and yoga classes, etc. With it's multiple locations, as of 2019, Maya Von has provided short and long term rentals to laid back tourists and locals seeking affordable rent. As a supporter of the arts, Maya Von has sponsored various artists throughout the years by collecting their pieces or providing them affordable rent, from Huichol Indians to Dianne Woodward of Canada who was hosted for 6 weeks while she painted the famous mural on the Crayola House.
