SAVE A FORTUNE ON YOUR FERTILIZER COSTS The Mayfield Knapsack Granule Fertilizer Applicator is an ergonomically designed product that economically and accurately applies fertilizer uniformly to any row crop. This allows for maximising the use of labour and optimising the fertilizer potential, thus ensuring improved crop quality and yield. The product consists of a knapsack, designed to carry up to 25 kilograms of fertilizer. The durbale, moulded rigid plastic casing is virtually unbreakable. At the base of the knapsack is an outlet to the hose system which is attached to the calibration nozzle, where the fertilizer dribbles out at a predetermined rate along the row. Constant and uniformed walking pace must be maintained for accuracy of application. At the end of each row the hose and calibration nozzle are raised to stop the flow of fertilizer.
