Mbasane Enterprises is a 100% black and female owned Information and Communications Technology (ICT) company. Mbasane management’s plus twenty years of experience in the industry forms the backdrop that has provided the impetus for this organisations existence. Having worked with multinationals such as IBM, British Sky Broadcasting in the United Kingdom, Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), FNB Corporate, the South African government, at National and Provincial levels and finally Small, Medium and Micro-sized Enterprises (SMMEs), one has seen first-hand the need to heed our country’s call for entrepreneurs to take upon the challenge to maximize our skill by entering the SMME space. It is well documented that South Africa is faced with a shortage of skills in various sectors of business, ICT is one such sector. We would like take the opportunity of developing our business as our government has prioritised entrepreneurship and the advancement of Small, Medium and Micro-sized Enterprises (SMMEs) as the catalyst to achieving economic growth and development. It is in answering this call that we find ourselves in the unique position of being able to push the entrepreneurial envelope, take control of our financial destiny, develop ourselves and our people, share our knowledge and our resources and make a meaningful contribution to our society, all through the same simple action of providing solutions to clients.
