The Flushaway Stool Collector is a device made from water soluble paper that is robust enough to retain stool for taking test samples after which the device can be simply flushed away - complete with the sample stick provided.
When introduced to any bowel screening programme as part of postal test kits or bought for home use, the simplicity and convenience of this device will raise compliance rates and therefore save lives.
When used in hospitals the adoption of this safer system will immediately reduce the risk of infection that is present in existing methods employed.
The device can be folded to insert into any bowel screening test pack/envelope or provided, either flat packed or pre-assembled/formed, for use in hospitals, clinics and pharmacies.
