McDorman Translations Overview

As an ATA (American Translators Association) and NYU certified translator with more than 20 years of experience in fields related to language and linguistics, I have the skills, knowledge and experience to quickly and accurately translate and edit documents from multiple genres and content areas. My primary working language pairs are Spanish to English (the pair in which I am certified by the American Translators Association), French to English and Latin to English. While I have extensive experience and expertise in a number of fields (including medical and technical documents, works in the humanities and social sciences, and niche areas such as sports and video games), I specialize in legal and educational documents, including court orders, notarial records and civil registry documents (such as birth, death and marriage certificates) from Spain and Latin America, as well as college and university transcripts, academic records, certificates and diplomas. I am also one of the few professional linguists who is dedicated to the translation of college and university diplomas from Latin to English and Spanish.
