The Maryland Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival is a movement-building organism uniting thousands of people across the state to challenge the interlocking injustices of systemic racism, poverty, the war economy and militarism, ecological devastation, and the distorted moral narrative of religious nationalism. The National Campaign, since its beginning in 2018, has grown to include 42 other state campaigns and continues to organize to shift the narrative and build power among poor and impacted communities, by broadening and deepening our base and registering people for a movement that votes.
