Mdina Glass was established in 1968 and was the first producer of handmade glassware on the Maltese islands. Mdina Glass remains at the forefront of the local industry. Over the decades, the company has consistently demonstrated a desire to innovate, be it through its techniques, the range of products it produces or with opportunities identified through retail, exports and developments online.
The glassware manufacturer has become synonymous with beautiful handcrafted glassware that is both decorative and functional.
Although the company operates a number of shops around Malta and Gozo, the flagship outlet is at Ta’ Qali Crafts Village. The building houses a large shop with a vast selection of products on display as well as the workshop where the glassmakers ply their trade and the company offices.
Visitors are welcome to watch the glassmakers free of charge and there are no bookings required.
