Meal-a-Day's mission is, as a practical witness to our faith, to share the blessing we receive from God to help those in need in the less developed parts of Latin America and the Caribbean. We collect donations to fund diverse sets of projects and compile teams of youth and adults to help serve and support, build and bring hope. With new projects comes new responsibility, financially and physically. The Meal-a-Day Committee meets and distributes many thousands of dollars to dozens of projects a year.
Most of Meal-a-Day's projects involve clean water and electricity in developing parts of the Americas, education programs to prevent the abuse of women and children, cook stoves for food prep in third-world areas, and the funding of an entire school in Haiti.
