The story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37) is the foundation of Medic Samaritan. It was founded in 2010 as a means of offering medical support to Haiti bound mission teams, and those residing withing rural Haitian communities.
Evolving from its founding objective, Medic Samaritan now engages in healthcare concentrated endeavors that facilitate access to shelter, education, and clean water within the rural mountainous communities of Beloc, Camatin, and Decouze, Haiti. The Medic Samaritan Community Health Sustainability model (Shelter, Education, Water), focuses on empowering Haitians through projects that promote long-term, health centered sustainability, development, and community engagement.
